no longer gettin spray noise when ignition turned on

Featured Replies

Serviced my car yesterday, new fuel filter fitted too. Im no longer gettin that spray noise when you first turn on the ignition? Runs great now, k+n was caked in muck so wacked a normal filter in for the time bein.

Keep the normal filter, having seen the damage done to a turbo by poor filtration I pulled my K&N straight off. The spray noise only happens when you have less than half a tank of fuel, presumably due to slightly lower pressure. If it doesn't happen I wouldn't worry about it.
