self serviced my vrs

Featured Replies

Hello I've seen a few posts on here about people starting to do self servicing on there cars, I had alittle help of a friend who is a MOTer and he stamped the book for me :) but while the car was on the lift I had a look round mainly the intercooler and pipes. They all seemed tight no leaks apart from the last one to the turbo, it was fitted and the clamp was on but there was a lot movement. As anybody else had this problem? Also do they do a hard pipe kit from the intercooler to the turbo?

Cheers Ants no pants..

Mines the same, on the pipes its full of oil, Id be guessing Samco hoses would be a direct replacement.

Mine are all ok apart from the bend going into the intercooler , I think it's the problem one. Bit of oil round that one
