For some time I have this problem, when it is in neutral and the engine is cold, I hear a metal knocking sound like it is coming under my gear shift selector. If I raise RPM's for couple hundred revs, it stops...Also when it is knocking, I can feel the knocks on gear shift when I put my hand on it. I checked the cables, greased up the ball of gear shift and it is still knocking... This problem is on Fabia 1.4 MPI..
