RNS 510 Columbus responding extremely slow

Featured Replies

Hi,

My Columbus just started acting up. When I press any hardware button (e.g. Map or Phone or turn the volume knob) it takes the RNS 510 30-40 seconds to respond. Turn the volume knob .... 40 seconds later: volume goes up - press the Map button... 40 seconds later, the map shows. When using the touch screen it reacts instantly.

I've tried to turn off the car, wait for 2 minutes, turn it on - problem still there.

Anyone knows what is going on? I haven't been tinkering with anything - the car is less than one year old.

After having been switched of for several hours, the RNS 510 is acting OK now, but if the problems comes back, I will try the soft reset. Thank you so much!
