I now have a Yeti in her finest wet weather clothing

Featured Replies

Took the monster the long way round coming home, taking in some winding single track back lanes across more deserted parts of the Wolds; all 'on' road but rather muddy and water logged. Think we both fancied the drive and a change of scene :D

Er - mine is far dirtier that that - sort of permanently - I pick up at least that much dirt on nearly every run into town and back !!! However being Muscova you don't see the paint. Most people say you don't see the dirt but the reverse applies with me. Looks better with steel wheels as well.

GREAT photo TP, and I'm glad you're now in possession of you very own SM.

Has the gauntlet now been thrown down ?

Well round here they are warning of continued structural damage risk to buildings continuing into next week with wintery showers on high ground. The car isn't getting a wash any time soon.

I went to the Puma Hellrunner yesterday and it was raining when we arrived and the car park was a muddy field! So my Yeti is also a bit dirty at the moment. No pics just yet alas.

TP: Still funny to me seeing a south west London registered plate (L for London and C for Wimbledon) on a Yorkshire Yeti! :giggle:

Don't have the winter tyres on yet but I do have the winter mud part of my Monster's winter clothing! But alas this weekend the tyres are getting swapped hopefully and now the car (and wheels) are dirty! Grrr.

Interesting to see how the mudflaps work in protecting a bit of the door. But not all. At the back the mud also goes under the flaps and then UP and over the bumper...

But I must say a dirty 4x4 looks great to my eyes!!!! Unless it has added dirtiness that has been added by a dog:

£255 at the DVLA can sort that pretty quick.

Or how about Yorkshire 110 TP for £405? Y11OTP (Or indeed YETI 110 TP)

I wish I had taken a photo of the Candy White Yeti we had in the workshop today. Nice local guy bought it from me and uses it around farms and fields to look after horses. It was absolutely covered in mud, it looked very impressive! God knows how he got it that muddy!
