Hi all,

Just started having the boot open light on my dashboard on constantly, even when it is physically closed. Has anyone else had this problem and did you manage to find a workaround? I've also noticed that one of my foglights is constantly on. When I turn the rear foglights on at the switch the one opposite comes on as it should and matches the brightness of the constantly on one. (hopefully you can make sense of that?!).

Could that possibly be a blown fuse or something? I'm a total car electronic/mechanic noob so be gentle!

So the light passenger side is constantly bright? Seems like you have an incorrect bulb fitted. Boot switch failure is common though not sure if the switch mech is in the tailgate lid, or the latch in the car itself.

It's the tailgate light that's constantly too bright. I'll check the bulbs in the morning to make sure they match. Another thing I've noticed is that my drivers side heated seat has stopped working or is extremely intermittent. Any remedies?!

Got some crazy electrics going off in the Fabia of mine...
