ecu

Featured Replies

i am needing to change my ecu, and do i need to get it unlocked even if its from another vrs?

Yup all ecu's have an immobiliser in them. One way round it is to speak to shark performance they can sell you a second hand ecu and programme the immobiliser out

thanks ive found a unlocked ecu which i think will do the job,

I'd still speak to Shark as they do this sort of thing all the time and spending £50 for some advice might just save you hours of messing about pointlessly.

You have two options.

1. Have the immo turned off.

2. Clone your original immo chip to the new ecu.

If your going to pay someone then you might as well get them to clone it.

Their are tools out there to DIY. I did one recently to give me a spare ecu to play with.
