Activate Gear Change Indicator?

Featured Replies

hey all, me again :)

After having my Monte Carlo Fabia courtesy car the other day, I've been pondering a thought, but as I came to no conclusive answer on my own I figured I would get MUCH further if I asked on here! Is there a way to enable the gear change indicator on the maxidot? Either by the controls in the car (which I have tried, unsuccessfully) or by using VCDS? Not sure whether it would be possible as I know it'll need the hardware to match, but figured it might be possible.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated as it's something that I think I'd use :)

Don't think that it is on the pre facelift model....

Oh. Pants :( Saves you a job though because I wasn't going to ask to borrow your VCDS if it was an option! Lol!

It can't be done, even on a FL there is no option to activate or de-activate the display.
