Rear sun blinds octavia hatch

Featured Replies

hi

Just to let anyone know who perhaps is looking for a set of rear sun blinds for there octy hatch back i have just purchased a set from www.vanstyle.co.uk for £71.99 (usually £89.99) with free shipping (usually around £10.00)

I have been told delivery will be by Friday this week (2nd dec) but it is on a 5 - 7 working day delivery.

i know these blinds are good, and have been mentioned on here before, not to do any advertising for the company but grab them while there cheaper then usual and save on the postage.

i hope this is of assistance to someone.

Are these better than genuine Skoda ones? I have the Skoda ones and find them perfect, not sure why an aftermarket company is selling essentially the same thing at roughly same price.

ive had bits for my vw t4 from vanstyle always been good

made by the same people apparently.

the ones from here come with a spilt blind for the rear where as the skoda ones do not, so you get more bang for your buck with these ones.

Vanstyle are part of, if not the same as OE Sunshades - I bought my set off OESunshades and collected them direct from the factory. At the time, the owner said they made blinds for the majority of manufacturers, as their own brand.

Surely the ones without the split line are better as this would be right through your line of vision out of the rear window?

if it causes that much of an issue which iam sure it wont, I simply wont use it you dont have to use it ?

a saving is a saving, using the rear blinds or not.

the blinds from skoda just come with the two side window blinds and nothing for the rear, so you pay 84.00 ? for just two side blinds, where as these are currently 71.99 and you get a rear blind also.

the Skoda offering you would have to pay another 50.00 odd for a roller blind for the rear to have the same effect.

I dont want to plug the Vanstyle product or site, iam only passing on a good saving from my own find.

I have the vanstyle set. After a few days you don't notice the split rear blind, and you get used to the visibility through it too. Great fit and price. :)

well they arrived today, really good fit on the side windows and they look the biz but the rear window isnt such a good fit on my car.

the blinds seems to be almost to big for the space which is making the blind have a ripple effect which isnt very good, so perhaps i will look into a roller blind for the rear.

the side blinds are spot on and really easy to fit.

The way it was written (or more likely the way I read it) it sounded as though you were comparing like for like when in fact the price quoted for the Skoda blinds didn't include the rear screen.

I thought that the similar pricing included a rear blind from Skoda without the split hence I questioned why you would choose the split blind if the price was similar.

For a £50+ saving I too would take the Vanguard blinds. Sounds like a good deal

I would contact them. I did think mine wouldn't fit, but they sort of squashed (there's probably a better description!) into the recesses of the rear window then evened themselves out. ;)

cheers, they do fit but becasue its a tight fit it makes the material have a sort of ripple to the surface if that makes sence ? it distorts the view through the rear mirror

I must be either to fussy, or just unlucky! I had a set of these for my estate, but I was disappointed with the fit, especially the rear quarter, so I sent them back.
