A Vauxhall Corsa has become a danger to shipping after being washed off a slipway and floating out to sea.

The two people who were in the hire car at the time managed to escape before the car slipped under the waves.

However, it is thought that, rather than sinking to the sea bed, the car might be drifting below the surface, held up by pockets of air still left inside.

Coastguards issued a warning to all ships using the busy sea lanes of the Bristol Channel.

Didn't know Halfords did a submarine conversion.

I didn't know about V@*Xh@11$, but ISTR that it was a factory option on the Lotus Esprit!

At least it was only a Corsa... :giggle:

Btw there is a typo in the title

" . . . It is not known what kept the occupants distracted as the waters rose around the vehicle. . . " nudge, nudge, wink, wink :D

This has almost happened quite a few times, I'm surprised it took so long to be honest.

Can't imagine what they were doing that they didn't notice it coming.

Can't imagine what they were doing

Someone said, 'Dip your headlights" emoticon-0136-giggle.gif
