Was Thinking

Featured Replies

Hi peeps

I was wondering about painting my engine cover to the rally green same co our as the car. Is there any special paint I need to use and is it advisable todo meaning is it worth it.

Don't think you need special paint, it shouldn't melt but best to ask a decent bodyshop. I had the one painted on my old MK1 vRS and Ibiza FR. Wasn't expensive either.

Got any pics think it would look good And will it void warranty

Will only void warranty on the cover. I did my Ibiza one a few times, plastic primer first then normal body paint.
