Door warning lights fuse

Featured Replies

One of my red door warning lights doesn't work. A current (weak one) is getting to the bulb. I've replaced the bulb but it still will not light up. The passenger side one is fine and works as it should. The drivers side however does not.

My drivers side heated seat also does not work.

I am having the typical steering problems so whether or not that has anything to do with it I'm not sure? I'm getting all the usual symptoms such as headlight flickering (SO annoying when driving in the dark) and PAS warning light.

Any help or advice appreciated!

drivers door switch mate, exact same problem i had. Unit 18 fixed it for me. if you wanted to do it yourself you'll need to drill out the rivets holding the carrier in place, replace switch, rivet carrier back on. Not a nice job from what i could see of it lol.

Is this the same as the red courtesy light at the bottom of the drivers door not working do you think?

My dashboard light goes off when the door is closed and I get the beep when the door is open. It's just the red light at the bottom that doesn't come on.

Always try replacing just the bulb first.

If that doesn't work then check to see if there is any current reaching the bulb contacts with a multimeter.

If not then replace door switch.

Simples.

Replaced the bulb, nothing, check with a multimeter and there's a current. Looks like I'll be replacing the door switch then. :/
