Back in the Fabia again!

Featured Replies

Probably the longest time I have "chosen" :D to not drive the mongrel for one period. The pug went last night and this morning was my first (brief) drive in it to work. 1) seats are so much better 2) suspension is so much better 3) power is so much better.

Mongrel fired up as if nothing had changed this morning, which was pleasing.

Pug was cheap motoring personified. Cost me £300, about £150 to get through MOT, some other tarting up and it looked very presentable, did 50mpg, £200 to insure. I suppose tax is a sore point as its £205 for a year due to being pre 2001 and a 1.9. Still, dirt cheap!

Nice one! How long has it been?

Well, I insured the pug on 15th November so its been a bit over two weeks it's not moved at all.

It's nice to drive your proper ride when you haven't had

a chance for a while.

I'm working away from home in the week and using my van

while I'm away, when I take the cars out at the weekend

the fabia feels like a jet powered dodgem and the MX5 feels like

it's a go cart on rails.

(The SDI feels like the van LOL)
