So about this obvious misfiring issue that seems to be plaguing quite a few of us vRS owners. Just took mine out for a "spirited" drive in manual mode, had some heavy stuttering as well as the EML coming on a couple of times, so it obviously logged some misfires. Then gave it one last blip on the throttle down my street, the EML starts flashing again, then the EPC light comes on too, and then the car starts running as if it only has 3 cylinders. Here's a video to help you visualise the trauma.

Very gutted and quite angry that this is happening with a 9 month old car that has less than 9k on the clock. It's booked in again next Tuesday so fingers crossed...

It's had the update, and it hasn't resolved my issue.

have they checked the coil packs?
