Remaps

Featured Replies

I have read all the threads about remapping etc.

I would like to remap my vrs but what concerns me is what about the insurance?

Who will insure a remapped car and at what cost?

My present insurance company just does not want to know and will not insure modified cars.

Any advice.

Elephant and Admiral will. They'll cover everything apart from Intercooler.

Remap, suspension, rarb cost me an extra £50

I'm with Admiral. Up to a 20% increase in power carries a reasonable fee. I paid an extra £37.50 (12.5%) on a £300 premium for my 1.2TSI with a tuning box taking it from 105BHP to 125BHP
