I just parked my car randomly near a VW Bora and when i locked my car i noticed the Bora's lights flash so i unlocked and relocked my car and the Bora also locks and unlocks!!

I thought that there were billions of code combinations for these such that it was impossible? Whats the odds?

somebody was hiding and seen you pressing it and thought it would be funny to wind you up thinking your key opened the bora

I hope he didn't have a camera as the confused look on my face would be priceless...

I've got to go out-shortly anyway, so I guess i'm going to have to unlock my car and their car then drive out of range and then run back and lock their car out of courtesy , as it is a nice VR6 bora....

Not really as the bora will lock itself again if a door isn't opened with 30 seconds.

Yes, the Focus unlocked! I couldn't believe it. It locked and unlocked several times as I turned the detector on and off over the next 45 mins or so.

Anyway, I found the ring (by chance I saw it - the detector was hopeless) and I think I left the Ford locked!

I think you need to park randomly near a Bentley.
