But the search for a set of spiders got me these on ebay, they were miles away in Cornwall but a friend collected them for me, so over the weekend they were fitted along with new boot and grille badges, I also took the time to polish it.

Small update.

All that was then needed was to drill the lower grille

Early days but not sure if I like it, I was looking for more noise but it sounds like Darth Vader has moved in under the bonnet, going to give it a few days but may go back to standard.

Switched it back to a Pipercross panel fiter last week, also with some spare time yesterday, I got on with refitting the boost gauge, the one I had was not very clear at times so removed it and sold it.

Replaced it with a 7 colour one, much clearer, next step is to look at moving it due to the fact it vibrates a lot.

Went for the green option for lighting

Well was not looking to spend a lot more money on the car but I found another induction kit at a really good price.

So tonight got on with fitting it, dead easy to do all in all took me just over an hour, bumper is very easy to remove when you have done it a few times.

Was worried about what it would sound like but it is awesome but not as daft as the last kit so well pleased.

Well last week, I had had the major job of replacing the heater matrix that had started to leak, all in all took around 14 hours with a willing helper due to so much having to be removed to gain access.

Picture of work in progress.

Getting it back together.

All finished now and back on the road.

So whilst the car was apart last week, I took the chance to modify the center console so that the radio would fit in the bottom slot, this then allowed me the chance to put my extra gauges in.

Oil temp is not working yet as we need to fit the sensor but very pleased to have sorted it.
