I have a 2003 Octavia vRS. I have noticed when the weather is warm a squeking noise when going over speeds bumps. It sounds as if it is coming from the front of the car. I assume with it only happening in the warm weather I should worry too much? Has anyone else had this or still got this?

I'm suffering the same problem. I think someone mentioned a while ago that it might be the suspension bushes. The creak is getting worse and worse, so I'm going to have to take it to the dealer for a check pretty soon.

I think you'll find it to be the Anti Roll bar. I had my bushes replaced and the noise has come back, I was advised that the whole ARB would have to be replaced. Apparently Skoda know of this common fault because they have redesigned a new one.
