Broken spring!

Featured Replies

Just finished work today, Started car and selected reverse and 'Twang'

I'm now afflicted with a floppy Kno8emoticon-0101-sadsmile.gif

Never seen any other posts about this, Is it a relatively easy fix?

It's easy enough to get to the pressure spring, From there I'm pretty much in the dark!

Vagcat exploded view lists the spring as a separate component,

Any help gratefully acceptedemoticon-0148-yes.gif

Need a wee favour!

Anybody with a stripped out interior, Could you post a close-up pic of the gear lever assembly, So I can position the new spring correctly!

Probably straight forward but it would be nice to have a reference!
