£500 ish fully comp. 40, max NCB & protected with £100 voluntary excess. iamsurety.

Best price I got was £650 earlier in year, max protected NCB, IAM/Rospa/Btec advanced driving nothing against name no points ever etc Fabia VRS before was under £300! :'( Currently working in mainland Europe paying €1560 ish here :(

NCB isn't all its cracked out to be,some will still take ncb from you if you make more than 1 claim.Never bothered having it after my scoob got broken into :swear:

This was a few years back 3 youths damaged all the steering column ignition barrel etc Bunch of *******..

It don't seem to matter nowadays what level of driving you have got, pass plus,IAM,etc etc.they just want to make you pay for the all the dodgy motorists they can't be bothered to go after. Its far more easier just to shove up the price onto the law abiding motorist.

33 08 pd vrs, paying i think its £680.00 or was it £580.00 one or the other.

Well i'm thinking that is just another BS excuse also.Apparently i'm supposed to live in a high vehicle theft area, but i've not known any cars in my area to have been stolen.Infact the only car i have known to be even broken into belonged to me,which was the scoob and that was 3 years ago.

A couple by me have new age scoobs,+a few classics knocking around and non of them been touched, but yet my postcode comes under a high theft area :moon:

£360 full comp XS £250

age 40

20K miles a year

140PD so not a VRS

You won't like me.

Car = 2.0 TFSI vRS,

Me = 28 years old, 0 points, 7 years no claims, 20k miles a year

Price = £301 fully comp with AXA. :giggle:

What someone else pays, isn't going to help you. Give the club insurers a try

:giggle: Thats protected NCB for life too and interst free monthly payments.

I'm pretty sure my postcode is worse than having one in hellmand province, little buggers everywhere.

Car = 2.0 TFSI vRS garaged

Me = 34 years old, 0 points, 7+ years no claims, 10k miles a year

Price = £330 fully comp with Esure inc legal and PNCB

£500 total excess. No point claiming unless it's big.

My postcode is as cheap as it gets.

If you live in Cornwall, you'll have a very low rated postcode.

I changed to Esure this year because they were about £30 cheaper than LV who I was with previously. Then, when my annual service came around, they wanted over £30 to insure me on the courtesy car (a tiny little Suzuki Swift).

LV always did it for free and faxed the dealer to let them know.

Even the dealer doing the service only wanted £15 and in the end he waived the charge - not bad PR that.

All things being equal, I'm going back to LV next year!

Thats odd, was always free for me previously. Not had to do it for over a year.

I thought it odd too. But I phoned their customer services and that is what they told me, so there was no way to get round it. Maybe it's a new "add-on" because they are often the best deal on compare sites. Bit like Ryanair. Cheap to start with but loads of add-ons!

Another very odd thing with Esure is getting them to recognise my umpteen years NCB, even after I'd sent them all my renewal paperwork from LV proving it.

Maybe they just have cheap (= useless) staff?

50 plus, 30 years ncb £920 200 excess 50,000 a year Paton and son taxi

33, 12 yrs NCB protected, FC + bus class 1 cover, 0 points, £250 excess, kept on driveway, premium £321

This is a bit pointless surely unless we're all the same age and driving record and live in the same place as the OP.

OP why don't you compare the meerkat?
