I am looking to upgrade my audio and as quite a few speakers are broke and the ones that work are naff :L recommended speakers? and also ive thought about putting a sub in my spare wheel whole, has this ever been done before? ideas and cool boot build would be appreciated!

Need some shallow mount speakers for the front as there isnt much room. Lots of info about sub`s on the net, you could just by a sub purposely made for the spare wheel well there are a few available.

I have a jl audio xd 400 amp and some focal vr slim speakers I've been meaning to put in for ages, did a lot of research and it seemed the best package for sound quality and reasonable price. Also have a sub enclosure for the wheel well but I probably won't use it, just bought it for the sub that came with it.probably going to build a false floor type thing.

I've got a false floor in my boot and the sub sits in the spare wheel well perfect. . .spare wheel is still in too. . .just have to remove the tool kit n jack ect

me too, i have a 10 inch sub inside my full size spare wheel.

as for speakers u need to make sure u get shallow ones as mounting depth isn't great unless do a door build.
