Picked up my new vRS this afternoon and have been going through the various controls getting used to it all. Having read various complaints about the lights I have bought som Philips Extreme H7s and fitted them, with the obligitory scraping of knuckles!

What I cannot figure out is what the bulbs next to the main/dipped beams are (accessible via the inner black cover). They are blue in colour and the manual says they are the parking lights but when putting on the parking lights the side light within the DRL comes on, nothing I do seems to put these other bulbs on? Anyone know what they are for?

Lots of posts on this they are just pretending to be bulbs they don't work :( but apparently you can get them to work but you'll have to be an electrician

Thanks for that, I had searched around the forum but didn't see any that said they were fake! Never mind, a couple of hours of my life I won't get back.
