Original roof-bars / Thule ski-holder?

Featured Replies

I have original Skoda roof-bars on my car and was going to mount the Thule skiholder today when I noticed a strange thing..

The plastic/rubber stripe on the top of the roof-bars needs to be removed to mount the ski-holder! If I do that water and dirt will fill up the empty space quick I think.. (where the plastic/rubber is today).

What about the plastic-cover at the sides of the roof-bars? on or off?
