I might be asking a silly question when I put the lights onto side light switch I only get the bottom lights on drls. Does this mean have my side lights out as car not that old.

What do you mean not connected? And how do I connect them so am I just being silly.

It's a function of mass production. The lighting unit is not model specific.

It is a pre assembled sub assembly. The skoda build line will just issue and fit the appropriate light unit to the car being built.

As such the light unit will be fitted with all of the bulbs as the bulb may be used in a diffrent model.

The VRS uses a dimmer setting of DRL for sidelights so the side lights in the headlights are not supposed to work.
