heated seats cut out?

Featured Replies

I had to do a 5.30am trip this morning, and I had my heated seats on with my friend. But as we got 5-10mins into the journey they cut off...it was only another 5-10 mins before they decided to come back on, they were on setting 2 but I thought they just stayed hot!

So I'm guessing there is a heat sensor in the pads? At least its a heads up if it happens to you. But at minus 1 I'd of appreciated if it had stayed on! :-)

I,m off out soon and will definately have the heated seats on so will let you know later today!

VAG heated seats have a thermostat so they do cut in and out on lower settings, my Passat does it too. My last Mondeo had 10 settings for seat temperature 5 chilled and 5 heat and they just stayed at the same level of heat constantly, a far better system.
