Anyone heard of xtrons head units?

Featured Replies

Like the title states I was originally looking to put freeview in my car and then I came across a buy that includes a xtron double din DVD player the freeview box and a reversing camera for £280.

I understand that this is very cheep and from the spec it is very good but I would love to hear someone's reviews about them as I don't want to buy myself a peice of c r a p :)

My mate got one. You get loads of extra's with it, you get a lot of stuff for your money.

But if something breaks, eg. Ipod cable, it's near impossible to get a spare one, as my mates found out.

Yeah cheers :) the spec looks really good but I don't know about the quality. Anyone know?

You usually get what you pay for with these cheap chinese headunits, and they are usually ok until they break at which point you end up chucking it away and buying something better built.

Oh, and another thing.

They sit out about half a inch from the dash. Looks like it needs to go back a bit but that's the way it sits.

I'd avoid to be honest they look pretty cheap.
