Ok, so I am very aware of dealer supplied and applied products such as Supagard and Diamondbrite etc, and I am also aware of Mark's excellent service. However, being a little wierd, I get a lot of pleasure out of cleaning my car!

I have purchased a 3 stage Diamondbrite kit, but I am hasty to just jump in and apply it. I know I need to get the car perfectly clean first, and maybe use a clay bar. After applying the kit I would like to use a complimentary wax to keep it looking top class, and totally protected.

Is it ok to do the same process to the wheels?

And what do people use on their windows and black trims?

I really need to know what products I need or products that people can personally recommend. I think I need - pre wax cleaner, claybar, wax.

I use Swissol cleaning fluid and Swissol Onyx wax. Both excellent. I intend buying a clay bar next - probably Meguiars - but can't find one on sale locally. I've used the claening fluid and wax on the alloys and got excellent results. Mr Muscle window cleaner for the windows and peanut butter for the black trim. Oh, and MC2 - or ViroSol - to clean the wheels when washing the car.

I use some auto glym products I know people don't like them but I find that they work well???

I use the tyre dressing, high gloss polish (not super resin), 3m scotch guard for the seats and mats, zimol car shampoo, wonder wheels for the alloys, Autoglym vinyl and rubber care for the interior trim and door shuts.
