Is there anyway to find out the diameter of the front ARB Without actually getting under the car to measure.

I know it sounds really lazy but I want to order a set of Superpro bushes today and the car is at home.

I fitted 19mm FARB bushes to my 54 reg vRS, hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies. My car is a 2005 vRS. I just got underneath to have a look but don't have any guage to measure so I thought to see what size spanner would fit over the ARB. A 19 wouldn't but the 20 did and it was a snug fit. Is this a reliable way of measuring the bar or is the tolerance to great and it could still be a 19.

Horace it's a 19mm ARB. if it turns out to be a 20mm arb(which it won't) then a 19mm bush will fit fine.

It's better to have a bush slightly smaller than the arb rather than slightly bigger anyway. if it's slightly bigger, if only by 1mm then it will be loose.

if it's smaller even by 3mm it will still fit.

Awesome offer three sized 17mm 18mm and 19mm - I got the 19mm one for my standard FARB and it fits nice and snug.
