Hello.

I've read about the forums to find about the issues with VAG and getting security codes to allow the transponders in the remote key fobs to be programmed.

However I was wondering what the going rate was to code a key. I've got the button remote with a new key cut, but I need the transponder to be sorted so my second key can work properly. The car I bought was only supplied with the one key and I'd always prefer 2 for peace of mind.

Let me know your thoughts or recommendations.

I'm in Ely/Cambridgeshire, but will be making my way up to Shropshire for Christmas, so if anyone has any recommendations on places to go or the sort of prices i should pay it'd be much appreciated.

hi muddy im in a similar area, cambourne and have a similar problem did you manage to sort it also where did you buy the key/transponder? i have the whole key but need a transponder and programming
