Alright peeps what's best

Standard paper filter.

After market ones let crap through and can fu** up your turbo

Done to death. Stick with OE

Unless you want your compressor blades to look like this on a regular basis

Just stick to the OE filter!

Standard for me

Standard is best.

Purely for your enlightenment cone filters with flat end caps were developed for naturally aspirated petrol engines so that they could benefit from the strong pressure wave reflected off that end cap, which if sized correctly would force slightly more mixture into the cylinder at a given engine speed. It cannot possibly offer any benefit on a turbo engine far less a diesel.

Alright peeps what's best

Standard, unless you want to perform static and differential manometer testing. In which case we all encourage you to do it. We'll then bicker about how the tests weren't properly scientific rather than praising your dedication to furthering the Fabia VRS cause.

J.

standard more air flow/given area =more crap passing thro'

when i get my VRS and start new job i will do a "scientific experiement" for you all.

will dyno the VRS standard, with a BMC CDA, K&N cone filter and aftermarket panelfilter! Perks of the job aye.. free rolling road use! lol

Ran a bmc cda for 50k on a hybrid with no issues

Engineering isn't a matter of belief, that's Religion, you're clearly confused, and you took a huge risk running without any filtration for two months which is no laughing matter (lol?).

However I'm looking forward to seeing some results from your dyno experiment, don't forget to use a standard brand new OEM paper element from a reputable manufacturer like Mahle as well as the flash trash.

FWIW I don't believe in the hole either ;)

im not proud. i had just had enough of the falling off so i left it! lol peice or jap crap!

i will do, just be interesting to see! :)

im running the new jabbasport cone, gives a nice throaty roar
