12 speaker Sound system option and snow?

Featured Replies

Pardon?

Reminds me of my old basic corsa 1.0l, Apart from alloys, it was completely stock, except the stereo system that if bought on the high street would have cost almost as much as the car itself. Components in the doors, 6x9's on a home made 'stealth shelf', big sub and bigger amp. If you had the volume on anymore than level one you couldn't talk to the front seat passenger, and the volume went up to 50, but my god did it sound sweet, my mum a former music teacher and classical musician said it was the sweetest sounding stereo she ever heard. Needless to say i wasn't pumping out Dr Dre and Dead presidents when she made the comment.

How the corsa would have beat this car, (except sound clarity)was that the installed stereo could be started by remote, so i could have cleared the snow without leaving the warmth of the house! These days if not listening to classic FM, i am enjoying the engine sound!

You wouldn't do that with an OE system lol

I used to run an uber system (lots of Alpine gear) years ago, and the car got got frozen solid with rain water, talk about sound deadening I gained about 1.5db I reckon, the tightest sounding car I ever heard, shame it all melted lol

Never seen frozen rain like that ever again, I had to abandon the car at the end of the drive and use bricks to stop it sliding down the hill and crawl up the drive on my hands and kness that night

What a prat!

What a prat!

Someone doesn't have to hurt you to disapprove of them. Yeti ownership and "bangin bass" don't really go together.Wayne Rooney and his like have done nothing to harm me but I don't feel I can't disapprove of the vulgar and overpaid.

I didn't think for a minute that they did tbh. But I didn't move this for fear of upsetting the demographic, still don't suppose that matters now does it.

I'll move it to a suitable area
