Just serviced my car and the service light won't reset I done the hold the button switch ignition on release button then twist right but didn't work.

Help please

all counter are now set to zero

+1 ive used this method twice

I know how it's suppose to work I done it on my old vrs several times but it's not working with this one :(

Will need to be done with VCDS then.

Ahh man that sucks why is that?

Not all work by the buttons, technically your not supposed to reset them that way as if you only reset the oil light it will come back on when the inspection is due, it's why loads of people complain they take their car in for service and the light comes back on.

try

with ignition off

hold down reset button

switch ignition on

release button

press and hold reset button

for about 10 seconds or until ----- appears

I'll try that bud cheers if not we have a snap on bit of kit at work so will use that, this was only a inspection light but serviced it anyway as I always did with the yellow one, was gonna ask you Ross if you could look at the car if I bring it over to you just for a chat and some pointers?
