Introduce myself

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I'm Ryan, 19 years old from the Peterborough area.

Just migrating over from the Corsa-c forum as the bag of bolts has finally been ousted!

I have just put a deposit down on a Black 2005 Skoda Fabia vRS, and therefore thought I should finally sign up to the forum, instead of hiding in the shadows trying to find out what to look out for when buying :).

The car itself has covered 44,000 miles and has already had the water pump and cambelt changed 38,000 miles. It has a FSH and the rear suspension bushes appear to be in good nick, and un-molested in every way. I'm going to pick the vRS up as soon as my private plate is removed from the Corsa so hopefully before Christmas if the DVLA get their butt in gear..

Cheers,

Hi and welcome aboard.

Welcome from a fellow Fabia vRS owner (its the wife's, really!). I would be very surprised if you don't enjoy your new car. :)

Hello RKelby and welcome along, I'm sure that you'll love your new car

I know this thread is now relatively old but I thought it would be more appropriate to post in here than starting another.

I picked the vRS up at the start of Jan, very very happy with it. Huge step up from a 1.2 Corsa.

As you can see I like to keep my cars clean and with doing 300+ miles a week they don't take long to get grimey. I have installed a Green cotton filter due to a recommendation from a work colleague and the only other plan for now is to price up the various lowering choices I have. 25mm drop on Eibach pro's is standing out as a leader for me at the moment due to cost and ride comfort. Can't afford coil overs unfortunately but have been recommended by a friend at work the Eibach springs, he had the same type fitted to his MK4 Golf at Jabbasport and can't rate them enough for the price.

Cheers,

Ryan

Very nice and agree, you can't go wrong with a Green Cotton ....... well you can if you over oil it and bugger up your MAF but that's not something we want to discuss :giggle:
