Headlight warning buzzer

Featured Replies

My Mk1 headlight on warning alarm has been intermitent the past week and has now stopped all together. If it was just me driving the car I wouldn't worry, but I am sure my wife is going to leave the lights on and drain the battery. Does anyone have any ideas?

Faulty micro switch on the drivers door? Is the red led flashing when you lock it?

+1, as above.

Note: the buzzer is only activated by the drivers door.

Thanks, I think you are right. I notice (only because it was night) that the interior light did not come on, so it must be the door micro switch. Can anyone point me where it is? It must be obvious, but I can't find it....
