The long wait starts here....

Featured Replies

Having spent the past few weeks test driving various SUVs and perusing various forums (and many thanks to the contributors to this forum who have helped me make my mind up) a deposit has just been put down on a Yeti Elegance Diesel DSG package (solid red / sunroof /gobi leather / rough road etc). The dealer confidently told me that there was a build time of only 4 months. Jokingly I asked him if he was a betting man and would he like to put a fiver on it. If he did I was willing to put a tenner on at least 6 months. Needless to say my kind offer was refused!! (good job to as I'm not a betting person either). We shall see...what is the consensus of opinion out there as to build times?

Welcome.

What engine have you chosen, as that can affect the timings?

Edited the above - diesel option.

6 to 7 months, count on that, anything quicker will then be a bonus.

The start of the waiting period is nothing compared to the last couple of weeks 'expectant father' syndrome :giggle:
