Elegance parts to Classic

Featured Replies

Possible a simple question... I have a spares car (hatchback) in Elegance trim to use to put right the front end damage to my estate which has Classic trim, and wonder what, if anything, I can use to upgrade the estate?

(It is worth bearing in mind that the electrics in the estate are currently dodgy at best - central locking doesn't work properly, and if I leave the fuse in for the rear wiper it means the fronts won't stop...! Also on my list of things to do, lol)

Cheers,

Chris

According to my s****y Octavia 2003 brochure, here are the key differences...

- Armrest

- Alloys

- Body coloured door handles & mirrors

- Electric front & rear windows with one touch operation

- Front foglights (the headlight design will presumably be different as the foglights are actually within the headlight unit)

- Headlight washing system & expanded screenwash tank (definitely worth doing!)

- Adjustable dashboard illumination

- Climate control

- Remote locking apparently?!

- Delayed courtesy light

- Front reading light

- Seatbelt warning light

- Trip computer

- Different seats

Think that's the lot... :giggle:

Your wiper problem means that your rear wiper motor needs replacing. Don't know if they're the same on the estate and hatch though.

Cruise can be carried across to the estate, but will need coding with vcds.

Alloys?
