Bloody Christmas...

Why?

Well swimbo decided she wants a real tree. To get it in the car meant rear seat down.

OK, I know how to do that.

Get back, unload tree, put the rear seats back.

Only I managed to get the right side belt jambed behind the seat.

Can I get the seat forward again to free it?

Can I f***!

And in the process of trying I've snapped part of the seat release lever.

So any suggestions on releasing the seat without totally wrecking me car would be greatly appreciated.

You need to have someone push the seat backwards while you release the catch.
