vRS seats

Featured Replies

Ive just picked my 05 plate fabia vRS up. Love the car, only problem I can see my seat getting dirty going to and from work. What do you guys reccommend to protect them?

Search the forum for Scotchguard, diamondbrite etc - this has been covered quite a bit.

Alternatively you could get some seat covers for the drive to and from work, I got a tailored pair from Hatchbag.

Can you buy those in places like halfords that you just spray on?

It's and aerosol and it's spelt Scotchgard, made by 3M. Robert Dyas the high street DIY store, B&Q and no doubt others sell it. You can browse the range of 3M fabric protectors here, although this is a US based website:

You'll also see the Simoniz Teflon stuff mentioned to protect the seats if you search on here, but this is no longer available.

I'm gonna get mine Diamonbrite'd by the dealer in a month's time - they've kindly given me a discount and valet included for the same price.

Will be writing up a report on them soon, doing well so far ;)

Thanks for that. I was quoted something like 200 quids for that diamondbrite stuff thatt he dealer offered! Does this scotchguard stuff do the same trick?

Yep but the dealer will not just do the seats for that money - it's inside & out, you are mainly paying for labour though.

You can get them off ebay for about

Halfords may sell something like it too :)
