Still having grief with brake servo

Featured Replies

Okay, so the servo's disconnected, but how do I get the bleeder out?

Do I need to drop the engine on it's mounts a little or is there something I'm missing?

All suggestions gratefully received (including jokes, insults etc.)

Ended up letting off left engine mount (as you're looking IN the bay), lowering engine with jack, pulling donk forward, and still having to remove rear turbo top hose and remove brackets from solid turbo pipe to manouvre out of the way.

Was a b@st@rd, but is now done. All back on, just got to bleed brakes (hopefully clutch seems alright just by tapping pedal, don't really want to bleed that if I can avoid it, since pushing air through is going to cause REAL problems) and throw interior panels back together.

Might have been able to get away without lowering the engine, but had already done that before moving the turbo hose.

Probably won't get done till after Christmas now, since it's at work, I'm going home and today is my last day. Oh well, motorbike and wife's E92 335iSE it is then. B) Merry Christmas all.
