KW coilovers advice needed please

Featured Replies

Hi Guys i really need some advice, my cars currently running full Koni suspension which is very smooth but as people have said & i think so myself its running a little high now i really really want to bring it down a touch without spoiling the ride whats my best option from those out there who know..

Those of you who have KW coilovers how hard is the ride honestly .... :)

HARD!!!

i just put kw varient 1s on 2 days ago, ride is not hard at all, very forgiving suspension. and sits nice, im going to bring the back down a little more though

v1s are really good on the lupo mate,

your konis, any specs on them please? may be interested in buying them, cheers

Can't fault my V1's! Top kit for the money

many thanks guys thats very helpfull steering towards these KW 1's .....mmmmmm :)

I did find the KW's hard at first, but it was wound down all the way pretty much and once I had raised it a good few cm's it was much much better.

This is the first car I have put coilovers on and to be honest and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be

I have V2 and i would say they are defo noticebaly harder then V1

I run KW V3 and they are fine.

Yes, it's rather firm, but it needs to be for track days and on the road it's fine.

I run them as high as possible as I don't like the car dragging on the road.

Up like that it makes my car look more standard.

Anybody tell me whether KW 1's ome with bump stops or do you fit yr old ones also do you need to fit shorter drop links with these coilovers....... :)

Use existing bump stops

Best trimming a bit off them!

Kw's use standard drop link too

New top mounts and bearings are advised (not dear)
