Hi Everyone,

This is my first time post so please bear with me if I make any errors.

Small object (SD Card) in CD Changer is causing the automatic changer to 'hunt' all the time; even when the ignition is off. I am anxious to recover the card before any permanent damage is done, any advice most welcome.

I think you will have to take the whole unit out and hope you can take the CD player apart to get it out.

I agree that sounds very tricky. I'd take it to someone who knows what they're doing though. I've had the stereo out of a few Skodas and they're not really obvious in terms of stripping them down further. Not had a look at a bolero but I doubt it is much different.

Thanks for reply. Doom and gloom clouds gathering - garage on Thurs am! Thanks anyway.

Just another thought. Have you asked in the ice section? Might be someone there who has made the same mistake and found a cure.
