HDD MP3 directory structure in Columbus unit?

Featured Replies

I've loaded about 2500 MP3 files onto the HDD of my Columbus unit but I've noticed that the file structure I have used (ROOT > Fred's Music > Artist Name > Album Name > MP3 tracks) doesn't seem to be recognised properly. The Columbus unit lists the MP3's as Artist > MP3 tracks, so the albums are jumbled up and they play out of sequence rather than by album order. I can't see a way to correct this, anyone else noticed this on their unit? The only solution I can see is to reorganise the folder structure as ROOT > Fred's Music > Artist+Album Name > MP3 tracks.

Edit - The Columbus reads an SDHC card with the exact same files correctly. I'll use the SDHC card in preference to the HDD now.
