Parking Sensor Fault

Featured Replies

Dropped off my grandparents just now and drove into their drive. Selected reverse to back out, there's nothing behind me and yet one of the middle sensors was beeping at me to say there was. I got out, wiped the sensors with my finger (it's pi$ing down) and try again and it's fine. Got home and selected reverse and the fault has returned. Any ideas? All the others seem fine.

Edit: Seems intermittent. Working fine now

Mine has done this occasionally when its grubby and wet.

It has always returned to normal after a wash and dry.

Rain drops. Happens all the time on my mum's.

possibly the beginning of a faulty sensor.a diagnostic check would tell you exactly what one,if any

Makes sense. It was soaking today and the back end is almost black. It's fine in the dry. I'll ask Skoda to give it a quick scan in the new year
