Wheel ET help !

Featured Replies

I've found some wheels I finally like that I think I'll splash the christams pennies on but only thing is they don't come in 5x100 pcd so will have to use adaptors.

I'm going to use the thinest adaptors, 15mm, so to get the same ET as the wheels I currently have (et35) will I have to order wheels with ET20 or ET50 ? wheels themselfs are 17"x7.5"

Thanks

Get the ET50s, plus 15mm spacers, that'll give you ET35.

ET50. The lower the offset the further they stick out, higher offset are tucked in. So ET 50 with 15mm spacer would give you ET35. Im pretty sure this is right as my et32 comps stick out more than my other wheels which are ET42.

Excellent thank you B)

What kinda wheels are they? I`d prob be inclined to either get them in 20 or get them in 50 and machined down to 30 to avoid the adapters.

^ pcd adaptors are needed to fit the wheels,

Yes unfortunately PCD adaptors are needed :( I can only find the wheels going to ET45 too so ET30 should be ok shouldn't they ?

Ah **** sorry didnt read that bit. I ran adapters, no issues with them, was just thinking if you could avoid the expense then would be good. However, I`d personally want to run 20mm, first for a little more arch filling, and second, I really am not keen on cutting the bolts down tbh.
