checking indicator on battery

Featured Replies

Mine is showing half black and half white ish. Is this correct? Not sure if its low or the sticker is coming off. :wonder: Annoying its sealed.

It should be green if in good condition and black when discharged. If you are keen enough then even sealed batteries should be able to be gotten into.

The OEM Skoda batteries are not really sealed as they claim to be. If you peel the stickers off the top of the battery there should be a row of removeable plugs underneath to top up the electrolyte in the cells.

Ok will take a look tomoz.

They're lead/calcium low maintainance batteries. Not sealed but they rarely lose much water over their lifetime due to the calcium plates.
