Just got some coil overs and was wondering if anyone on here had any tips for cleaning them? and also things to do to prevent salt off the road destroyin the threads?

Lots of grease on the threads and then wrap them in cling film ;)

I've heard of bike inner tubes for covering the threads, seens a very durable idea.

I have done anything with mine, car gets washed 1-2 times per week mostly one and I just lower hose in the round the arch and it's doin the job :) still in really good nick :) move perfectly etc had them on for 6+ months now I think and they are only budget Joms

My Eibach pro street coil over are still in perfect condition after 5 years on the car. I clean them with car shampoo and a brush whenever i have the wheels off then finish off with a wipe over with ACF50.
