apart from what appears to be illegal tints on the Polo and Golf and number plate offences on the blue polo some tidy cars (apart from the Corsa, I was forced to drive them for 8 years at work as company cars and hated them!)

well good to know that chavs and boy racers now buy skoda's NOT!

I bet any money that 120bhp Saxo would outrun the modded 150bhp Golf every single day of the week. i still prefer my 1.6 Felly to any of the above cars.

i would have the VTS if it wasn't yellow, maybe if my arm was twisted and the dump valve and monza wheels removed i would drive the golf.

a bunch of really unfortunate cars tbh.

Your probably right. However if that vts was cammed it would be approx 150 bhp to. So without doubt the quicker car.

when i was 17/18yrs old it was kinda of real world dream car for me. 0-60 in 7.2secs standard and a wealth of aftermarket equipment. yes i imagine if it was chipped and cammed it would certainly be over 120bhp. 150bhp normally requires more substantial headwork IIRC

seen a few n/a vts's pull 0-60 in approx 5.5secs too.

if it wasn't for the image i would still consider one today

Looks like the suspension's knackered on that Saxo to me...

Plenty of jp16vs see 150 mapped on a decent set of cams (catcam 708s). No need for head work there, unless your power hunting, in which case I would expect bodies to be involved.

Good little 1600 engines...

i still kinda want one, but can't quite bring myself to buy one. i took a recent peruse on the Saxo owners club site and things look pretty bleak over there.

i doubt whatever car i own will stop me frequenting the Skoda forum

My second car i ever had(first was a transporter van) was a 106 xsi(1.4 100bhp) and thats where i got my love for those cars, very easy and cheap to mod, insure and maintain.

i just don't wanna be the little chav/boy racer driving around town in the noisy Saxo/106 trying to look cool.

Gertrude the mighty Felly looks as cool as cool can be. she doesn't even have to try. so i will stick with her until my new cars arrive.

How charming, not one of the cars above are overly chavvy or boy racer ish!

The Saxo is probably the worst one image wise but that is through reputation alone.

I think 99.99% of the population of the world if presented with the choice of any of the cars above and your beloved 1.6 Felicia wouldn't choose your Felicia. (and I haven't even seen your Felicia!)

I think it's quite rude to describe the OP as a Chav and a Boy Racer TBH.

I'm inclined to agree tbh. If you don't have anything nice to say and all that.

They are all tastefully done and the 6N2 Polo looks especially clean. The only one I couldn't drive would be the Saxo. Not because it's "chavvy" or for reliability reasons it's just I have big feet and Saxo pedals are very close together. Drove my mates one years ago and it was a nightmare

As above all look fairly tasteful, not overly done. I also couldnt drive the saxo due to not fitting in them very well.

and its also good to know how much of a narrow minded turd you are, im niether a chav or a boy racer just a normal working class person that enjoys modding cars like every normal day to day male does!.. a bunch of really unfortunate cars? enlighten me?... the body work mechanical side of all my cars are bang on you only have to look at the photos to see how straight they are and few snap shots up above of under the bonnet is probably cleaner than your dinner plate son... so before insulting me with such a post please think before replying ok its not what YOU like doesnt mean to say that everyone else on this forum wont like them...

Blue polo's not a bad un, saxo's aren't for me...used to have a vtr and hated everything about it :giggle:

But saying that our fitter at works got a turbo'd vts circa 250bhp and boy does it shift!

Jeez, sorry to drag this off topic, I've never seen so much filler on a car!?

That Focus CC next to your vRS will need uprated springs on the drivers side to compensate for the extra weight of all that doggy :giggle:

I was about to say. That's shocking!

Yeah thats at my work the focus is in a bloody bad way.. the women brought it like that for £6000!!.. its been sat there for months as shes ran out of funds!... the fabia now has to go! :( thanks for all the opions and posts! :) Dan.

I had 3 corsa's in my younger days, a couple of 1.2's then a 1.4 16v Sport, used to thing they were better built than my friends 106's/saxos at the time and the 1.4 didn't half shift,

Always quiet liked the VTS engine in saxo's but could never bring myself to own one as i didn't want to be classed as the usual boy racer/chav gang, altho saying that one of my frinds now has a C2VTS supercharged powered saxo pushing about 280bhp and boy does that thing go,

Think out of all of them i woud have kept the golf because i love the 20v turbo engine in my vRS, never driven a turbo engine that is so willing and happy to rev all way round to red line
