14". Steel wheels on vRS

Featured Replies

Hi, I have chance of some cheap 14"steel wheels off a Golf.

What I need to know is, will they fit on a 2007 vRS.

I've searched the topic but started getting confused with 5x100 and 5x112, not sure what mine are or what the Golf is.

They are just for a cheap set of winter wheels.

Thanks

You need 15" cause I'm pretty sure it got the 280mm discs... and it's 5*100 ;-).

sent from the real deal

14's wont fit over the brakes!

And you need wheels with a PCD of 5x100

And an offset between ET32 and ET42 ideally!

Thanks for the replies, needn't go any further.

If they won't go over the brakes then they're no good.

Pity cause I think I could have got them for£20, 2 of them have brand new tyres on as well.

Cheers

If they're just for winter use, buy a pair as cheap wheels to swap onto your rear (you've only got 232mm brakes there so 14s should fit). Then get just a pair of more expensive 15s or 16s for the front? Might have trouble getting winter tyres in the right sizes to match the rolling radius though, I'm not sure.
