fabia 2 blower resistor

Featured Replies

Hi, i've got a 2007 fabia and the blower only works on number 4 so i'm guessing the resistor has failed, whilst looking for it, it would seem that its located in the top part of the heater box, if i remove the top glove box i can see it but looks like i'd need to remove either the passenger side airbag on top of the dash or the dash itself? is this correct or is there an easier way of doing it?

Thanks in advance

Does nobody know the answer to this? I would like to know as well.

hi you have to remove the airbag as it is on top of the heater box

Is it a dealer only job to remove/refit the airbag or can it be done at home?

It can be done at home if your happy with removing airbags and have the correct tools.

top tip-disconnect the battery before attempting to remove/disconnect any air bag

well you could have a go if you want just make sure you disconnect the battary first and be careful of the bracket on the bottem of the airbag because it is realy sharp and is dead easy to mark your dash bord
