I've not owned the car long, and have been trying to cure the problems that are popping up.

The previous owner installed a switch in the dashboard which was 'spliced' into the red/black wire at the wiper switch (using 240v electrical cable of course :wonder:).

I've removed all this and rejoined the wire, and as soon as the key is turned, the wipers come on.

I've tried swapping the stalk with one out of my Astra mk3 (they're both the same), but still occurs. The relay is switching on with the key.

Could this be the bonnet switch - it seems a reversal of the usual symptom though?

Can anyone tell me where the switch is? I've scoured the internet and can't find any info on it's location!!!

It seems the Felicia doesn't have the bonnet switch, or at least mine doesn't!

Swapped the relay out with one from my Astra and everything works now!

I now have to change the thermostat and speedo!
